I decided to try to clean the study room 2 days ago. The extreme clutter was taking a toll on my brain processes. Plus I didn't want to study for ACET. XP I spent more than 2 hours just cleaning up the junk on ONE table. I found out that we own almost comical amounts of certain supplies. Like folder slides. And glue gun sticks. (We don't even own a glue gun. It broke.) And diskettes. (Our computer doesn't HAVE a diskette drive anymore.) And rocks. Yes. ROCKS. Those decorative ones. Ranging from multicolored little pebbles to glasslike transparent colored plastic stones. There was also a stack of caseless CD-R's that I had to test one by one so I could throw out the useless ones. I had to scrounge around for cases to put the useful ones in. I also found a lot of junk that doesn't belong in this room, like hair accessories, keys for which I could find no lock (That statement has a bit of a poetic thing going on. :P), grubby old wallets, scraps of cloth, Christmas ornaments, etc.. etc.. And I'm not even done yet. Dad made me quit at around 10:45 'coz I had to wake up early the next day. Who knows what more I'll find when I start cleaning again today? I'll keep you guys posted. Haha. Fascinating tale, isn't it?

So I took the ACET yesterday. At the beginning of this year, I didn't actually intend to apply for Ateneo, but I saw their Health Sciences course, so... Yeah. *shrug* It wasn't THAT hard, just crazily time-pressured. 5 mins for 25 questions? Oh joy. Their English exam had an essay too. Not that I don't like essays, but still. In an entrance exam? (Yeah, I know the SATs have essay parts too, but those are the SATs. Miles away from the ACET.)
After ACET, Mom, Dad and I headed to MoA to check out the sale. Our first venture was to buy folders and file boxes and other stuff that I needed for my Quest of Study Room Cleaning. I also bought a new clipboard (Yay!), some cool brightly colored index cards, and a corkboard. Yes, Wish is going to be more organized. The To-Do List of Doom was only the beginning. We also got these big plastic box things where I can toss now-useless papers that Mom won't let me throw away. Weeee.
Next up was clothes shopping. I had P2000 to spend 'coz of my yellow card and the Bio contest thing. Money! Yay! Mom really needed office clothes, but I ended up shopping more than she did. I bought a cool shirt from Oxygen which is my backup concert shirt if I really can't find what I need for my planned outfit. There was nothing interesting in Folded and Hung and People are People, sadly. And MoA doesn't have a store that sells Billabong. I need a new messenger bag for school so I can return the one I'm using to my sister. Boo. I also bought some chocolate from Marks & Spencer. Haha. I also scored an original Howl's Moving Castle DVD at Comic Alley. Weeeee! I also wanted to get the Death Note TV ep 21-25 disc but I decided to save the money for now.
Today I have to finish my homework, and then I'm going to start cleaning again. Yayz!
Oh, right. Happy Birthday to Cholo!
